Energy Performance Certificates
 
From the 1st October 2008 ALL non domestic buildings will require an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) in order to be sold or let, including currently vacant properties facing sale or let. This also applies to the person carrying out the construction or modification works.

Steelcase Photography Competition

The DCM Partnership were out in full force at the champagne ceremony in London for the Steelcase Photography finals. Unfortunately the winning photo went to another practice however The DCMs Ashley Mckenzie said "I've learnt alot of lessons tonight and I am very determined to win the next competition".
The DCM would like to thank Steelcase and Onoffice for hosting this fantastic event as we all had a great time.


                                                    

20 Year Anniversary for the DCMP

Richard Griffiths and the team are celebrating 20 years in business.

Richard set up his architectural practice in Albion Place, Northampton in April 1988 and has built up a reputation for combining speed with design flair and quality of service.

Planning consent has been granted for the development of a 150,000sqft distribution warehouse on behalf of Legal and General and Graftongate Developments. St James Trade Park, Northampton

Construction is currently in progress for high quality warehouse units aimed at Trade Counter occupiers on behalf of Stepnells Estates. This project is due for completion September 2008 and is generating many enquires for new tenants.




Irthlingborough Road, Wellingborough

A planning application is shortly to be submitted for the development of industrial units on a brownfield site for Darby Investments. The site straddles Irthlingborough Road, has the River Ise and the railway as boundaries and was formerly occupied by an abattoir.


Benhamgoodheadprint, Bicester

The construction phase is nearing completion on a new print hall which has been specially designed to accommodate three large print machines to double the capacity of the production.



Hubbinet Industrial Estate, Romford

Planning has been approved by London Borough of Havering to build 33 industrial mixed units covering 3.8 acres in Romford.




Rothersthorpe Crescent, Northampton

Construction for small industrial units is now underway for speculative storage facilities. Completion of this project is expected by late september 2008.





Acan Way, Narborough

From 14th July 2008, Construction works are to begin on site for a small speculative warehouse unit complete with internal 2 storey offices.

Curtis Instruments, Northampton

Works are now on-going for the refurbishment of an upgrade of an electronics production unit and warehouse facilities. Features include a fireproof wall system and sectional doors to a high standard.
