The construction of a new print hall for Benham Goodhead Print has been comleted to accommodate three new large scale printing presses producing high quality 'glossy' weekly and monthly periodicals.
The project was an infill between two existing buildings occupied by BGP and had to be carried out without interrupting production. Circulation planning formed an important part of the process, ensuring that the print works remained fully functional with a complicated construction project in its midst.
Regular progress meetings with the contractor, sub-contractors, suppliers and the client management team mnitored the works and ensured completion on time.
Incorporation of the specialist suppliers machinery and equipment into the design and construction phase was key to the success.
